Rude Awakening
03:47
|
|||
I stay awake against my will
A train of thoughts, a cage of steel
Like a pinball in my brain, I can’t sleep at all.
Need the doctor, need my drugs,
Close my eyes, no pain that hurts.
Heavy sheets over my head, silent faces on my bed.
Turn on late night tv, swallowed by (the) liquid floor
All these hidden parts of me
locked as doors.
Looks like an angel,
in the mirror becomes demon,
Sweet embrace of darkness.
I’m going down to the deep unknown,
I get nervous when daylight’s gone.
Slave to my dreams they seem so bright,
There’s no flash to shine tonight.
Turn on late night tv,
swallowed by (the) liquid floor,
All these hidden parts of me
locked as doors.
Looks like an angel,
in the mirror becomes demon,
Sweet embrace of darkness.
Rude awakening in my brain.
I’m crashing down with my fears again.
Rude awakening by the light of day,
Here I am, constrained by shame
Turn on late night tv,
swallowed by (the) liquid floor,
All these hidden parts of me
locked as doors.
Looks like an angel,
in the mirror becomes demon,
Sweet embrace of darkness.

Introducing Dorian C.
04:33
|
|||
There’s a story about to tell
Are you asking who I am?
Let you fall in this cold spell
What’s this haze around myself?
When the night you fall asleep
I close my eyes and start to see
A thousand people all around
This condition has no sound
Call me Dorian, that’s my name
I’m the pawn in this strange game
My insomnia makes me fool
I’m drowning in a pool
Silent voices I can hear
Try to tell me all their fears
You don’t know if it’s truth or dream
(Let me show you what I mean)
They still walk in front of me
If they take, what I’ll give?
When I share my memories
No one cares, no one believes
I’m just asking to be free
They reply in silent need
With the daylight all has gone
Rhythmic breath in bed alone
Call me Dorian, that’s my name
I’m the pawn in this strange game
My insomnia makes me fool
I’m drowning in a pool
Silent voices I can hear
Try to tell me all their fears
You don’t know if it’s truth or dream
(Let me show you what I mean)

The Garden
03:58
|
|||
In the beginning
there’s only darkness
Starting to fall
in a no deep sleep state
Hard to define
when I’m dreaming or not
Her name is Mathilda
and I don’t know her
In her pale vest
she looks like ten years old
Long blonde hair
moved by a hot quietly wind
Now she moves
towards me and I’m waiting
I’ve decided
to let things take their course
Every tree seems to have an eye
I can’t smell anything,
it’s all so quiet
(she) Tells catatonic about a man
How many secrets
hides this garden?
An unnatural dream
forced by the drugs
Or a forgotten message
she’s trying to leave
She plays in this garden
and repeats every movement
Her damnation
is pay for sins never done
She’s a child
from a lifetime she’ll never grow old
Her soul is a slave
in this place
no one knows She’s begging for freedom she looks me in the eyes
I break down and cry I feel like a thoughts thief
She’s screaming
memories with despair
This damned noise
is driving me crazy
Every tree seems to have an eye
I can’t smell anything
it’s all so quiet
(she) Tells catatonic about a man
How many secrets
hides this garden?
I know you
can’t understand what I feel
This ghostly,
dark torment is real
Ferryman of these hanging souls
Chosen one in this realm of cold
Every tree seems to have an eye
I can’t smell anything
it’s all so quiet
(she) Tells catatonic about a man
How many secrets
hides this garden?
